EVIE'S STORY
Some of the Bull Terriers we hear about, or who come into our care, don't necessarily make it onto the Bullies In Need website as homes are found for them pretty quickly. (We keep a confidential database containing all the returned potential adopters' questionnaires and we are then able to contact people directly we hear of a dog.)
One such dog is Evie. Evie was under the care of the RSPCA and had been in kennels for a good few months, waiting for a new home. She had been severely beaten by her previous owner (having sustained at least one broken rib which had been left untreated), but she miraculously managed to retain her lovely temperament, and is a very sweet natured dog. A friend of a friend contacted us about Evie and we got in touch with her carer straight away. Within 2 weeks Evie was rehomed to a wonderful family from our waiting list! She is now enjoying all the love and attention she so desperately needed, and is settling in like a dream!! Her new owners will be keeping a diary of Evie's progress and this will be featured in the November/December issue of the Bullie Run - the quarterly Bull Terrier magazine for Bull Terrier lovers - www.bullierun.bulliebar.co.uk
Here she is.....I think you'll agree she is absolutely beautiful.
