OTHER BREEDS

Occasionally we come across dogs of other breeds who urgently need new homes or who have been waiting for a long time in a rescue centre, to try to help them they will be posted (with permission) on this page. If your shelter, charity etc. has a dog that may benefit from being on here please contact the webmaster

ROMAN

This is roman. He is an American bull dog and is in his home in the Manchester area. He is entire male and neutering will have to be done. Roman has never been vaccinated as he had p-arvo when he was a puppy which he pulled through. Roman does not get on with other dogs due to being attacked himself. He lives with a another dog but that's the only one he can tolerate.

Roman is a big strong lad that will need some one with experience of this breed to bring him on. He has not yet been assessed by any B.I.N representative. Roman lives with kids as u can see but with the size of him we feel maybe 10 and above for him. The lady who owns Roman just wants a good home for him that can give him the love and attention he so needs if u think you can give roman a loving home with no other dogs then fill in the questionnaire, state Roman on it and send it to lsd659@aol.com.

DIESEL - REHOMED

Diesel   Diesel is a handsome Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged 18 months old. He is a confident, strong and intelligent young man with a great character.  He is respectful of his handler once rules have been set.  He needs an all adult household who are experienced with bull breeds and who know what to expect.  He does not want to live with other dogs or cats. He would thrive in a semi-rural environment where he can burn his energy off. Sam is a handsome Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

who is desperate to find his perfect home. He has been at the Coventry Animal Centre (RSPCA)
for almost a year after he was abandoned, found tied to a fence. He is thought to be about 3-4 years old. He can be nervous of some situations and new people, but this is to be expected considering his past. He doesn’t enjoy kennel life as he does not like people peering at him in his kennel. Staff think his is why has is continually overlooked because he can appear quite aggressive in his kennel but he is really a big softie as you can see by the pictures below!. Once he gets to know you, he is very loving and great fun. He is looking for a home without children and other pets.
His new owner should be someone who can give him the time, patience and love that he so truly deserves. He is quite a character and the staff are desperate to find him his perfect home so his true personality can shine through.

All animals are neutered, fully vaccinated, de-flead, de-wormed and microchipped. Full details of diet and veterinary visits will be given. Coventry Animal Centre is a charity which relies heavily on donations to ensure the centre can carry on its vital work. Although we are affiliated to the national RSPCA, we do not receive any financial support from them towards our daily costs.
